Thick Greek yogurt piled with fresh mixed berries, crunchy granola, and a drizzle of honey for a creamy, high-protein breakfast bowl in five minutes.
Ingredients
For 1 serving
- 200 g greek yogurt
- 100 g mixed berry, rinsed and patted dry
- 40 g granola
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp chia seed (optional)
Steps
- Dry the berries well on a clean towel: wet fruit weeps into the yogurt and thins it. Halve any strawberries bigger than a grape so they spoon up easily.
- Spoon the yogurt into a wide, shallow bowl and level the surface with the back of the spoon.
- Pile the berries over one half of the yogurt.
- Scatter the granola over the other half only when you're ready to eat, so it stays crunchy.
- Drizzle the honey across the top in a thin stream, sprinkle over the chia seeds, if using, and serve right away.
- To make ahead, pack the yogurt and berries into a lidded jar and refrigerate for 3 to 5 days (the fresher the berries, the longer it keeps). Carry the granola, honey and chia separately and add them just before eating.
